Air Travel
Thai Airways is the largest domestic flights and airlines for domestic flights in Thailand are relatively inexpensive, the hours are good with a lot of flights to popular. In addition, aircraft are generally in good condition. Thai Airways flies to many regions of the country, but not all. A notable exception, do not fly Thai, where is the tropical paradise of Ko Samui. There is only one airline that is located between Ko Samui and Bangkok and Bangkok Airways, who believe that I have to go to Samui Airport. The journey from Bangkok to Koh Samui Bangkok Airways flight is more expensive than a trip to Thailand from Bangkok to Phuket, something many people wonder, with some thinking that really burn when you fly Bangkok Airways to fly between Bangkok and Ko Samui. Bangkok Airways also operate in neighboring countries and domestic flights in Thailand, but is the way to Koh Samui, where they are most familiar. Bangkok Airways have sought to reposition itself, and now marketed as a boutique Asian carriers. .
Arriving by car
The garage or even a Ferris wheel is a way to travel in Thailand. The quality of the roads in Thailand is of good quality in general. Car hires is quite cheap in Thailand, which is somewhat surprising given the fact that the cost of purchasing a car in Thailand is much more expensive than in the West. In general, driving in the province of Thailand is easy, the drivers are less aggressive, there's much less traffic - and as far away from Bangkok, less traffic and congestion to be found. But wherever you go, there are signing usually found only in Thai. In some places, Pattaya is an exception, some signs are in Thai. Fortunately, traffic signs at the national level are in both Thais and English, I was very impressed. The gas is cheap in Thailand and in March 2007, the price was around 26 baht per liter for the highest grade octane gasoline is 95.
HIGH season, there are serious divisions in point:
The tourist season lasts from late November to mid April. May, at times, particularly Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year and Songkran most 'popular beaches and islands are very busy, so that other accommodation can be a bit' more of a problem. Hotels and pensions, and even higher prices - and people are willing to pay. So if you're traveling to all these moments, it is advisable to book in advance. The period of Songkran really marked the end of the tourist season for the year. There are several other holidays throughout the year and some of these sectors holiday nightlife, bars and discos are closed - and the sale of alcohol is prohibited. Some bars slip boys in brown bit 'of money so they can stay open. Typically, these are the Buddhists festivals, and 5 December, the anniversary of His Majesty the King.

Great Festivals and culture! Since we got to choose from a range of cheap hotels in Bangkok through a travel website, we had a marvelous time though it was the peak season!
I am a repeat visitor to Thailand and always book my Bangkok accommodations and domestic flights well in advance particularly during the tourist season.
